If you do not see something in the pictures, more than likely it is not included unless otherwise noted. The first (left hand side) Alt key doesn't have a shortcut function. Also, check the system tray for the language bar.
Mac OS has a rather useful built-in utility called the Keyboard Viewer – an onscreen keyboard that displays many of the possible symbols.
